Party Decor!

We had a little party last week (ie- we had more than two adults in the house) so I made some bunting!

I used pages from old magazines, folded in half length-ways. I folded each page into a concertina then stuck four together for each fan using double-sided tape.

I sewed thread through one edge of the concertinaed strip, pulled it to gather and knotted it to keep the centre together. Then I fanned out the other edge and stuck the edge of the first page to the last.

They were super simple to make and a great use for old mags!

I also made a fancy looking cake! Don’t be fooled… It’s just chocolate banana bread underneath the woolly trees because i’m not very good at making cakes! But i’m really happy with the woodland decor. The all-bran campfire could've looked more impressive but I didn't leave much space for it!
