Hand Sewing

My making time currently comes in little snippets and getting the sewing machine out isn’t really an option. So I decided to do some hand sewing!

I had a small amount of some gorgeous Liberty fabric left over from a patchwork cushion I made ages ago and decided to make myself a new face mask.

I use Juliet Uzor’s guide - it works really well for my face shape and it’s easy to make smaller for my small face.

The main issue with hand sewing is that I seem to sew a lot more cat fluff into things! But I really enjoyed doing a bit of hand sewing and it felt like a nice change of pace to knitting but without the faff of getting the machine out.

I’m tempted to hand sew a skirt for my next sewing project! But maybe that’s a bit ambitious….
