Darcy Cardigan

It was love at first sight when I saw pictures of the Darcy Cardigan. It looked so cosy and I always think belted cardigans feel like a hug!

Designed by Samantha Hall (aka @pippy_eve on Instagram) for The Bloggers Edit by Mode at Rowan, the Darcy cardigan is knitted in Alpaca Classic and Kidsilk Haze stranded together.

I combined Alpaca Classic in Verdigris with Kidsilk Haze in Peacock and the colour and texture is beautiful. I made the tie shorter but I’m sure it will grow!

It’s really warm and definitely feels like a hug so will be lovely for snuggling up in our cold house over the next few months. I think I’ll also wear it instead of a coat on dry days in early spring and late summer.

It’s rare for me to finish knitting something in the correct season to wear it straight away so I’ll make the most of it!
