Rowan AW21 - Jem’s faves

Was anyone else a bit disappointed when we had a heatwave this week? I’d just started to get excited about long dark nights cosying up on the sofa with my knitting and then I was back in flip flops!

Regardless of the weather - I’m ready to embrace Autumn so I thought I’d share my faves from the new Rowan collections…

Jade Scarf by Lisa Richardson from Felted Tweed Colour Collection.

Rowan have launched a new self striping version of Felted Tweed! I adore how it works in this fair-isle scarf and would be tempted to use this pattern for a fair-isle jumper.

Minnow by Erika Knight from Pebble Island.

I love Erika’s simple but quirky designs and really like this wonky jumper! I think it’d look fab over my loose fitting denim shirt dress.

Quartz by Lisa Richardson from Rowan Magazine 70, knitted in Alpaca Classic.

I love the embroidery on this… although I think I’d prefer a similar pattern worked in fair-isle. Looks super cosy and festive!

Are you excited about getting hygge with autumn/winter knitting?
