Amy by Jem

When I started working on the Amy by Jem Cushion Collection last winter, I planned to launch the patterns in April. But the pandemic had a huge impact on my creativity, motivation and productivity… so they were eventually launched in August.

They still feel like April patterns to me! The flowers make me think of spring bulbs and the bright fresh colours feel like the clear and warmer days. So I thought I’d do a little re-launch.

Based on illustrations by my talented friend Amy Blackwell, the Amy by Jem Cushion Collection features four mix and match (without being too matchy) cushions with gorgeous floral motifs.

Knitted in Rowan Summerlite DK, the patterns are available individually and as an Ebook collection. There are also kits available on my shop containing a printed pattern and all the yarn you need to knit that cushion.

The Amy and Jem Cushions use the intarsia technique and the larger Vine and Balloon Flower Cushions are knitted in fair-isle (with a simple stripey back on the Balloon Flower Cushion).

Hope you’re enjoying the Spring vibes!
