Made One 2021!

My Make-nine-2021 plan was fairly ambitious and of course life got in the way… so I finished 2021 with just one finished project from my plan!

I love doing a Make-nine plan because it helps me to stay focused on items I want/need in my wardrobe. It’s so easy to get distracted when there are so many beautiful patterns out there.

I normally base the plan on clothing for myself. I don’t include makes for others or the home and if something was started but unfinished from a previous years plan I don’t include it because that feels like cheating!

So I decided to look back at what I actually made in 2021… and it was nine things! It definitely represents the big life changes that happened after the initial plan as my makes included a toy basket, cardigan, blanket, otter and Christmas stocking for Little’un. I also finished my shirtdress and bralette from a previous plan and made a wall hanging for our newly decorated living room.

The only thing I actually finished from my Make-nine-2021 plan was my Eventide top and I love it. My Make-nine-2022 plan will definitely be more realistic to fit in with my current circumstances and will include makes for others and things I’ve already started!
