Current Knits

It’s that time of year again - where I decide I want to knit Christmas presents even though I’ve got numerous other projects on the needles!

Becoming a full-time Mum means I’ve completely abandoned my Make Nine 2021 and I’ve just been knitting what I fancy whenever I have time. So the back section of my Isla jumper dress (Ravelry link) is still languishing untouched in my knitting chest…

I did a little bit more on Beardie’s cardigan so the back and front sections are now done.

And the little’uns cardigan is fully knitted… just needs sewing up.

I also started a new throw on everday/bung in the wash kinda cardie. The pattern is Lull from Pale by Kim Hargreaves. I ended up going for Schachenmayr Merino Extrafine because they had the perfect shade of bottle green that I had in mind (and it’s basically the same as the Patons version which I know wears quite well).

I finished the back and then abandoned everything to start a Christmas stocking for the little’un using Rowan Pure Wool Worsted and Kid Classic.

I’m planning to stitch noses and eyes onto the polar bears and line it with fabric when it’s finished. It’s so much fun just making it up as I go along!

Hopefully I’ll be able to Journal about a finished knit soon!
