You’ve probably guessed from the title of this Journal post that I’m doing a big clearance sale and closing my online shop - so I’ll jump straight into telling you why…

We’re getting ready to welcome a new little member to our family and closing the shop will give us back some much needed space at home as well as giving me more time to focus on being a Mum!

The Jem Weston Shop will shut its virtual doors at midday on Friday 9th July (GMT). In the meantime - there are huge savings (up to 40% off) on all kits and yarn packs while stocks last. So if you’ve had your eye on a project (or several) - now is the ideal time to stock up.

Although my shop is closing - I won’t be completely disappearing. All of my digital patterns and Ebooks will still be available to purchase from my Payhip, Love Knitting and Ravelry pattern shops. And if you have any questions or pattern queries I will still be available to contact (apologies in advance if my response times are a little slower).

I also plan to still write regular Journal posts. I would love to maintain weekly posting… but I’m sure you appreciate that I’ll have a bit less time for writing (and for making stuff to write about!) so we’ll just see how that goes.

I’m sad that I haven’t been able to see you all at shows and workshops for over a year now… and that it’ll be a while longer before I’m back to exhibiting and teaching. But I’m so excited about this new life chapter and all the challenges I’m sure it will bring.
